The Outdoor Classroom is more than a construction project. It is a place where children, families, and community members will learn how to grow food, prepare fresh ingredients, preserve the harvest, and build healthier connections through hands-on education.
Every volunteer helps bring that vision closer to reality. Whether you have years of experience or have never picked up a garden tool, there is a place for you here.
No matter your experience or skill level, there are many ways to get involved. Whether you enjoy working with your hands, meeting new people, or sharing your talents behind the scenes, every contribution helps us grow our mission.
Help care for the gardens by planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, and preparing growing spaces throughout the season.
Assist with construction projects, moving materials, assembling raised beds, and creating an accessible outdoor learning space.
Help welcome guests, set up activities, assist instructors, answer questions, and clean up after programs.
Help set up displays, greet visitors, share information about our mission, and assist customers.
Support photography, social media, graphic design, fundraising, grant writing, data entry, and administrative projects.
Have a special talent? We'd love to hear about it! Whether you're a carpenter, educator, artist, electrician, landscaper, or simply eager to help, there's a place for your skills.
