TheHoodGarden Food Education Project empowers individuals and communities through hands-on education in gardening, food preservation, cooking, and sustainable growing practices. We create accessible opportunities for people of all ages to grow, prepare, preserve, and share food while building the knowledge, confidence, and connections that strengthen healthier, more resilient communities.
Thanks to an Urban Agriculture Micro-Grant, we're beginning our transformation of TheHoodGarden into an outdoor classroom where people of all ages can learn to grow food, preserve the harvest, cook with fresh ingredients, and build lasting connections through hands-on education. With continued community support, this space will become a welcoming place to learn, grow, and share for years to come.
